    Question Redo plastic baits

CAN I MELT LARGE PLASTIC BAITS IN THE MICROWAVE AD THEN POUR
THAT PLASTIC INTO MOLDS AND MAKE NEW BAITS OUT OF THEM?
NEW TO PLASTIC BAIT MAKING AND WILL PROBABLY HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS.
ALSO WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY CUSTOM MOLDS FOR SMALL PLASTIC
    BAITS?

    THANKS

The best bet would be just to order new dye and plastic from Bears baits.com or lure craft.com. Commercial made lures have alot of additives that don't do good when reheated and welcome to the addiction

I have made thousands of jigs by melting old and new plastic baits. Some brands work better than others but I have never had a problem with it. just cut them into small pieces and melt them in a pyrex cup.
