I am out of the selling business. Retired except for what I make for myself and close friends. All I have learned was from communications with Snake River. I buy the jelly bodies, and sickle jig heads from him. Then when I get them I just experiment. I am using marabou tails, Polaris Hair tails, and I go to Bass Pro Shops and get rubber skirt material for large mouth bass. I pull it apart and thread these materials into the jelly body using a very large needle. After that I trim the tail, trim the front of the jelly body where I pulled stuff through. Seal it (Sometimes both ends) with one drop of superglue and instantly attach it to a jig head. Place in a rack to let the super glue dry. That is it.

ship they look good...I wanna dibble in the plastic later on. Just got alot to do before i am able to though..Thanks for info it healped alot..

Do you have much trouble with the tail material pulling out when you thread the hook on? Jacobs has a new body mold out that you tie the tail material into a knot and insert it into the body; then pour the plastic. It looks to me you would have to be very careful not to hit the hook point on the knot when you thread the jig through the body. Any experience out there?

I do not pour plastic.

This bait is like the old Lindy's Fuzz-E-Grub which was good looking, colorful, and sexy to the crappies. It really attracts them when they are reluctant to bite. Tip with a Powerbait Crappie Nibble and hold on. I like it for non-agressive crappies. You can tell I like it because it is in my signature.
