    Has anyone made any molds using plaster of paris im trying to get into pouring my own plastics but the injection molds are too expensive im looking to make a multi cavity crappie jig mold any info on molds would be very helpful

    You will not really be satisfied with the results from making your own plaster of paris molds. IN MY OPINION just start with a few injection molds and go from there.

    Other tips: (I hope others will add to this thread)

    1) If you want to make a two color jig, if your mold allows just hand pour the bottom half or you can split the body down the middle and put it back in the mold. Tighten the mold with clamps or screws. Shoot (Inject)your second color. Don't worry it will bond.

    EXCELLENT!!!!

    Crafting lures is another pleasurable time-consuming hobby in of itself. The most basic soft plastic lure craft is joining the parts of two different lures together using a candle flame which creates a single bait. Even shortening a lure is sometimes preferable using the flame method.

    These are hybrids:




    ....all of which catch most fish species and for some, better than many manufactured baits.

    Can't get a better start than from the sources you've posted Ship.
