Saw this eagle flying out and about the fields of Reelfoot Lake.

Oh, believe me I do know just how it takes (many) (sometimes hundreds) of shots to capture the ones that seem to have it all goin' on for them. I once had an interest in doing some photography as a hobby... (still do)... and have read many articles about how the most successful wildlife photographers invest hundreds of hours every month afield stalking photo ops and setting up strategic blind locations in search of that perfect combination of elements that make up the best photo opportunities. It's very much like catching a three pound crappie. You have to catch hundreds or even thousands before you might catch one three pounder.
I'm just sayin'... Some of the shots you've shared are quite remarkable.

apprecate the kind words. It does take effort. The kitters sometimes just wont stand still.
