I'm resisting Win10 as long as possible & don't know for sure, but MS must have kept some variation of the "Windows Explorer." If your PC has a port that will hold your camera's memory card (or you can otherwise access the camera's memory directly), you use WE to simply drag & drop the image files into a folder and then use your browser to upload them to Photobucket or some other online storage.

I use an older version of Corel's Photo ShoPro. The only problem is you can do so darn much with it I never have taken the time to learn it all.

Thanks guys for the replies, am happy with windows 10 except it does so many things that are not all in my head yet. It's kind of like phones--to me a wall phone with only a touchpad is fine, too much stuff. Got the pics off the camera and posted but took hours, kind of like my fish finder how do I do it again?(where are the grandkids when you need them?). Catch a bunch--shu

My wife and I use Adobe Photoshop Elements as our photo editor software.
We don't upgrade every year to the newest version, until we see something
that we can take advantage of. Elements has become very powerful in recent
years, but is still very easy to learn, IMO. We installed Elements version 14 when
we converted our desktop and laptop from Windows 8.1. You should be able to
find Version 14 for about $60.00 or less if you shop around.

I agree 100% with you. I have the Elements 13 and may update to version 16 when it comes out. I skip a few versions waiting for them to give us some thing more useful. They dribble out a bit her and a part there and then charge $100 + with each new version. If I had taken that money and purchased Adobe Photoshop CE in the first place I would have done better. But I could not see spending $400 to 600 dollars up front on CE.

The only thing I would add is that I could not get Photoshop Elements to get the pictures out of my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone. When I plugged in the USB cord all it did was charge up my phone and Elements could not find the smartphone to download pictures. I ended up removing the SDHC mini card out of the smart phone sticking it into the SDHC Carrier Card and putting the SDHC card into my computer in order to get the pictures off the SDHC card. I got some of the photos but none of the movies into my computer this way.

But I can get all the pictures and video out of my Canon EOS T2i camera easily with Adobe Photoshop Elements 13.

The most recent version of Adobe Photoshop is version 15 right now.

Paint DOT NET is free, and easy....

Though I wouldn't touch Win10 with a 40 foot pole, I have Photo Shop, Paint Shop Pro, The GIMP and a bunch of others I DON'T use because I am a fan of that FOUR LETTER word...

I found out why I could not get the photos out of my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone into my computer using Adobe Photo Shop Element's 13. I had the wrong cable or the cable didn't want to work. I used another cable and was able to get the photos out of my smart phone easily like it was suppose to work. Now I can get my smart phone photos into my computer easily and then share them with facebook, Instagram and any thing else on the internet. Happy camper now. Not all mini usb to regular usb cables are the same. And then there are micro usb to regular usb cables. I spent $150 on adapters for diffent type of computer cables just this last week. mini display port to HDMI, VGA or DIV are just a few of those adaptor that I purchased. Then I got some camera attachment lens that clip over the smart phone camera lens to take macro and telephoto pictures using the smart phone. One was a fish eye camera lens that produces extremely wide angled pictures. LOL
Take a selfie with that and you will have a picture that not many others can do with a smart phone.
