Thread: BENEFIT TOURNAMENT - MARCH 21ST LAKE FORK, TX

I work with and organization that teaches the TPWD Learn to Fish (formerly kid fish) events at Eisenhower State Park on Lake Texoma.
The new Superintendent wants to enhance the program a bit by giving each kid that participates a rod & reel combo and a tackle pack. The help I need is, there are no TPWD funds allocated for this.
I would like to propose a local crappie tournament where the entry fees go to support this project and the tournament anglers win prizes.
Zebco sells organizations a rod/reel combo for $5. Our immediate need is 100 combos.
Can we raise $500 to help encourage kids to go fishing?

ENTRY FEE IS $20 PER CONTESTANT - 100% GOES TO THE PURCHASE OF RODS & REELS FOR THE KID FISH EVENTS
THERE WILL BE 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PRIZE FOR THE LARGEST STRINGER (UP TO 25 CRAPPIE)
PRIZES WILL BE MERCHANDISE AND/OR GIFT CARDS DONATED BY MERCHANTS.
