we always have ours ready to go also, but the fellow that don’t like us putting out our reed piles likes in the cove we like in, so everytime we go out he sees us, may need to do it at night. Hard to mark a place with a buoy marker and find it at night, anyway I am getting older and it’s hard doing it at night. But my catch count this year is in a
most half compared to normal because of not being able to refurbish my piles.

I dont use marker bouys but I'm also not refurbishing existing spots. If you can have everything set, just pull up on the coordinates and dump them when you see them on the screen. If I remember correctly, you've got a scope, that will tell you exactly where they are, and able to dump accordingly. I usually tip mine over the side of the boat and hit "Mark" before the brush is even below the surface.

I do the same but I like to put mine on a triangle type position, so that’s why I use a buoy marker, I catch lots more fish when they are in a triangle.
