    Minwax I believe just a real stiff wax. Similar to Johnsons floor wax. I think the rubber pans would have came off without it, but a little wax never hurt

    Right after Christmas I know of a guy that sunk a bunch of Christmas trees. Didn’t take but about a week or so and many were laying down on bottom instead of standing up. Something to consider is like DSJ said tying bottle or something to help stand upright.
