    Default Crappoe structure question


    Oknim new to crappie fishing hi everyone!!
    I been catching good size crappie in the same spot
    A point near a fallen tree near deeper water...4 trips and they are still there biting...is that a crappie seasonal spot??

    It does sound like a staging spot. It may not hold fish in the dead heat of summer. The rest of the year you will be able to find fish on it as long from my past experiences.

    I too believe, especially at this time of year they will be there.
    You may check deeper or shallower at dif times of the year.

    Only this dammed up lake we have a lot of rock bluffs/walls that have trees toppled in the water. Both fish and fishermen utilize those tree tops. Some days it is hard to find one without a boat on it

    The thing is we fished thus spot 4 times in summer as well and they were there...but good info thank you all for the information ��

    I have caught them under docks with 4 fow under them in the dead of summer. Everything said they should have been deeper. Yet there they were

    Ever lake and spot can be some ways different , You might have found a spot that holds fish most of the year . Just check it over the year and see. Few spots produce all year

    It would be beneficial to figure out what is causing the fish to hang around that area. Then a fella could use
    Navionics to help locate more areas that are to their liking
