these are the structures I build, about 8’ tall and probably 10-12’ wide. Normally drop 2-3 side by side. Dropped several last summer and was catching fish 2 days later. One plus side is my jigs don’t get hung in the structure, it just pulls thru the leaves and keeps going.

They are tops out of bamboo. Sorry I should’ve said that, they work great and hold up longer under water.

those look nice. they will drop their leaves within a few days of being underwater but the sticks will remain for a few years before they breakdown. just keep adding them every few years!

They actually held onto the leave longer then I thought, I was pulling leaves off of them for a couple weeks. Caught a bunch of fish off them.
