    Default Cedar piles

If you were to sink 10-12 ft wide cedar piles, would you thin it some to create passage ways?

I have wondered about that myself, I have some bamboo ready to go in after we get this next 4-6” of rain out of the way. I like the looks of the piles that I have that have more space between the limbs.

I would use pvc pipe frame and drainage tile pieces. Illinois CDC sit has pics going. It works well, costs more but will be there the rest of your life and they don't snag easily. Hold fish too.

I use as big of Cedar as I can handle , bigger diameter lasts longer . I cut off everything smaller than my finger . Sure speeds up being real good . I read where you need 10'' spacing for big fish to access interior of tree .
