    Went back with the ol tried and true today. Made 8 different pile like this today. Hopefully they’ll work.

    I would drag the tops down to the water and throw them the rope. Once we pulled them where we wanted they would hold the base from they're boat and from my boat I would tie the bucket of quikrete to them. Used 30#'s (1/2 sack) in each bucket and they sank like a rock. All that was in the boat was the saw and buckets. Probably wont fool with trying to build stuff anymore. This way was to easy.

    I had seen places around a local lake where they cut the tops off large trees that had fallen and then just dragged them behind the boat to location and sunk them. No need to even put into boat if reasonable close.
