Default Thoughts before I pour concrete and cut

Here are 2 buckets I put together today. All the materials I had laying around and was going to get thrown away some time soon. The tubing is from some garden/flower bed sprinkler systems that had pieced left. The buckets j got from work. I plan to let the crete set and then cut the middle of thw tubing loops. The crete will hold the tubing in and upright, and will only go past the tubing an inch or so. I plan on putting the lids on with aome holes in them for smaller critters to get into. I also have a 25' water hose to add to the tops .

Dont really know where to set thwm either. I dont fish often and tbe places I do fish near me, i dont realy know of any good spots. I might put them near a pier at a camp I go to every year on vacation, but it is 4 hours away. Was thinking about making a long day out of it. Name: 20180331_141313.jpg

I would put four pieces of sch 40 pvc about 4 to 5 ft out each corner at a 45 deg angle. The pvc pipe will keep the bicker from laying flat if it turns over. I do it in all my buckets even the ones with wooden stakes. I do like the looks of yours and may try some in the future.

Ill try that. Where I am going to put them I am going to lower them witha rope so they will 100% be upright. I have some water hose that I am going to cut short pieces and poke through the lid after I cement them. Going to have about 10 one foot pieces on the top to make it more like a bush

Those look great. Looks like you may have plenty of room also to put a few hard wood limbs(wood) in there also. The wood will attract much faster and the rest will hold them afterward. FISH HABITAT "BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME".
Be safe and good luck fishing

This is the first one that the concrete was poured in. The other is setting. I only found one top and will put it on the first one. The other I have put some water hose pieces in it. They both should be snag free. As far as putting wood in them to fish sooner, where I plan on putting them out I wont be fishing for another month and a half. So we will see of they prove to hold fish by then. I will try to get some downscan of them when I put them out and when i go fish. Name: 20180403_180107.jpg

This is one of the buckets I put out. The other was placed next to it later and Idid'nt get a pic. The depth is off about a foot and a half. I still have to adjust the offset on the TM.

My brand new lowrance on the console quit working so I dont have the sidescan of the buckets. The side scan worked but the gps quit. While i was PO'd I reset the thing a few times and lost waypoints ans screenshots. Name: 20180428_085407.jpeg
