    I always drill a small hole in the pipe close to the bucket to let the air out of the pipe when it is sinking. Just a thought.

    Did you ever catch any fish on these??

    I always sink natural trees. Wondering if maybe i should start doing some artificial mixed in..

    as a rule denser is better but not super dense. to keep these upright drill a hole in each corner bottom and put tight fitting PVC piping 24"- 36" long in them to form an "X". this will help them hold even on fairly sloped areas.
