built some beds to put out this week. The conservation put out a lot of big cedars last Winter in the mouths of several good coves. Think I'll put these at the junction of the creek channels just outside of these coves.

Those look like they would be very easy to deploy. At age 67, the 5 gallon bucket style with 40# or more is getting to be a challenge.
how well do they attract crappie?
what depth do you place them?
Thanks
They take a little longer to get a good covering of algae, but they seem to hold bigger fish. Wood still will hold more fish most of the time. So I like to place these near cedar or oak beds and even around standing timber. I placed these at about 12'. If I plan on placing them deeper than 15', I'll make them a little taller. These were around 3.5' tall.
Those r slick, pomme need a more attractor in the coves where u can get out of the wind
give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime
Awesome
