Lol. I don't think I'm going to make any more for myself. That was lots of work.

I make the exact beds as pictured in the second pic. I use drywall screws to hold all outside stakes to the bucket. I also put one good stake in the middle and thats where I drill a 5/8 hole through so I can put a rope through when I set them. I hold both ends of rope and put bucket in water and once I get to where I want it I let it go down and make sure its setting well I then toss on end of the rope in and pull it out of the bucket. This works really well. I usually put 6 buckets around a bouy then get my GPS mark on it and also where I want my boat to be. This is where I stop so I don't run over my beds. Another thing I started doing since I am 65 now is I take a Metabo and cut about 4 " off the top of my 5 gal bucket then I lower it down and screw it together with screws . This shortens the height of the bucket and I always fill it full of cement. It really helps with the weight of the finished bucket. Now if you could come to Barkley lake and drop your beds there I !!!!
Those look good!
those look very nice. Another spot to consider would be in a ring around standing timber that currently produces crappie, somewhere between 10-20 feet beyond the visible timber. You will know that crappie like the area and most people never check around standing timber for sunken brush piles.
