    Default coffee can feeders

a mounth ago i took 5 coffee cans the plastic one with snap on lids drilled a few holes in the sides and about 7 holes smaller than a pencil i hung them up with trot line to hang about half way down in the water or so, i fill them about half full with floating catfish food, as it breaks down the fish come moving in cats carp bluegill you name it they bump and knock them cans around for hours , my original intent was to try and feed up the bluegill and hybrids and they are eating to, they will hit food if i just toss some now in the area, i do have a bag of sportsmans choice game fish food iam gona start using soon, let me know what you think? this is a 3 acre private lake.

sounds like you might as well use a seine and not worry about actually fishing.

Dog food, horse feed, fish food it's all about the same. I use the cheapest dog food I can find. Cats and your brim will feed on it. Them cats will come to the surface and feed, the brim come up and pop it and go back down. Good for the fish and fun to watch. You can train them just like dogs to come at certain times if you consistently feed at same time.
