Once I can get a picture I'll be sure to update this post
After extensive research from this forum, I was able to duplicate the infamous "dishpan stake bed" seen from numerous posts. I'm very excited to see how these produce come springtime. I've been putting 4 in each spot, and will add more if I see it needs it! Come on spring!
We have been used these for years. They work great. Pop the pan off and use them again and again.

Them look great!
Jeff, what kind of concrete did you use? My biggest struggle is getting the pvc or wood stakes to sit in the position I want while the quick crete I use makes it difficult to allow that. Also, what kind of black pipe is that you used? Thanks!

Make a frame out of wood or pvc to hold the pipe till the concrete cures.

My only issue is I have dumped a bunch of these over the years and have yet to do very good in them. They look good good though.

Agreed!
That is the problem...the cover area of 1 "dish-pan" is normally just enough to hold 1 fish.
When we started our Projects we moved away from "stake beds" for this reason....we spent our time looking at Natural cover that crappie liked....denser, larger cover, that provided shade, ambush points, and good areas they could get into to rest or hide!
Cover that is open, provides none of that.

Intimidator glad to see someone else thought the same as me. I have literally put out 150-200 approximately and the natural wood or pallet beds do the best for me. I wish I would have known this when I started the cover adventure. I have sank as many as 12 in a spot and still not hold much. I have added them into existing wood structures with a little more success. Would be nice to see underwater footage of these and how the fish relate to them
