That is pretty much your preference but IMO it helps to have a little space for fish to hold inbtween.
Any of you guys figure out what is the best spacing between each one you drop?
I dropped all of mine pretty close, two or three feet apart, just don't know if I need to be,they are holding fish pretty good.
So is it better to keep them close or space them on out?

That is what I thought,I know some of the guys on here have been doing this for years,I was just thinking some of you guys have figured out the best ways.
Thanks for the reply.
I have some bamboo bed that I made that is 6' tall and about 7' in diameter and when I drop them I am going to put out a marker bouy and place 4 of them on each side to make a 14' diameter bedding area.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
This is exactly how I do mine, except only use 3 Boo Buckets, it gives me about a 20' diameter to fish. I like to make sure I have enough room to fish IN and AROUND the stucture. I only use about 5 pieces of 6' long Boo, with branches still attached. Want it to give crappie something to hang around, but not thick enough that I can;t drag a crappie out of one.

We generally leave space between our condos.
