    Great presentation, I have a big patch of Boo near to where I live. Ihave done some of this already, but I will do more in the next week or so.

    I built a few just to check em out but nothing as elaborate as those in the link. An old icecream container with the lid on to hold up the cane and some quikcrete. My little boat can only carry 1 and watch out for wind too (can you say sailboat). couple pics here Name:  Picture 028.jpg

    Can I suggest tie'n the boo up till you get to sinking spot. Can haul more that way. Just don't to forget to remove the tie before sinking. lol lol

    Yeah you definately have to bundle it up to make it easier to travel. Have you fished over your bamboo yet. I have caught fish on mine days after putting it down. I really like my bamboo structure!

    Thanks for the tip bout tieing it up "Duh" I'm not to bright sometimes. Yes I have fished em and yes they don't take long to attract crappie. Also better then stakes when ya snag em

    I looked but couldn't find out how long these will last? The fine cover is perfect for crappie!

    Different water types will grow algae faster than others. Dark, stained waters grow the fastest. Seems to be the key to getting the fish around it to use.
