We don't have bamboo but your methology with the bricks and placing your material thru it and locking it in with a branch can be applied to other forms of brush. Thanks for the idea!

    Hi Brad,

Are you dropping the bucket type condos or the concrete block type condos?...Also how long is the bamboo your dropping?...If the water is deep?...I would put some long pieces of bamboo in the concrete block type condos...If that is the ones your building?...If you build the bucket type?...You want to cover half the depth...So, if it is 20 ft deep...Make the bamboo about 10 ft tall...So you can fish all those different water levels....Don't give up on the boo...It will hold fish...If in the right location..

    Thanks

    jcd,

19 ft. of water, bucket condo, about 10 to 12 ft. tall. I want to go back and fish it today, but may be tomorrow. I found a few more spots the other day for more bamboo condos. So I need to start making more.

Found some fish on the condo today. Not many but some. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

I'd say maybe 1-2 weeks for a condo to start holding fish. I fish with Jeremy(aka jcd) and we've been dropping beds like crazy. Too many lakes to choose from though. Alot of work, cutting and hauling then building.
