My compadres make home made pizza's a lot at our cabin or in FL and they are awesome. Going to do it myself since first job I had was making pizza's at Ponticello's resteraunt in North STL and it's really easy to do. especially when simply buy the crust.

BUT even easier? is buy any decent frozen deluxe pizza and dump a lot of mozzarella cheese on top and add some ingredients INCLUDING MUSHROOMS! BTW they don't have any taste but simply absorb flavors around them and I have grown to love them and onions on pizza. We usually Cut them in HALF as two of us seniors don't eat that much and that's more than enough for us and then you have the other half ready to go.

This is my Pizza Oven. It's from WebstaurantStore: Restaurant Supplies & Foodservice Equipment we enjoy Pizza cooked at home. The secret I found to good Pizza is having the heating elements close to the Pizza. These are fairly cheap in the Pizza Oven arena and also make Killer Hot Open Faced Sandwiches. We make our own dough since my wife is a Baker but buy the rest of the ingredients.

Back in the day, oh around 1978 or so, I made pizza's in the Enlisted club in Germany. Cook Barracks. Wasn't too bad a gig, and put extra spending money in my pocket too!!!

we make pizza type things often , have doctored a few frozen pizzas and also fixed up several of the "fresh" versions as well .
sometimes we just split a long skinny french bread and make pizza bread too ....
but lately we are getting a kick out of the start with raw dough thing ....

we take left over pizza in a baggy and put it on the dash in the morning , and here in Texas it is pretty darn tasty about lunch time after it gets warmed up to oven hot in the sun on the dash , just saying ....
