Thread: Bambi burgers

a sure enough treat when prepped right
love us some bambi burgers at our house
the lil one often says when she see's a deer
this about that
"that one looks yummy dad" ......
drop a lb of ground 20% bacon fat and venison in a bowl
massage in some kosher salt , onion powder and garlic powder and make patties
drop em in a hot cast iron skillet
place bacon press on them and cook them until well done ....
describing how well it tastes is beyond words .
the toasting of your buns is optional btw ,,,,,
as are the sweet potato waffle taters ....
it isnt a race to see how fast they go away , but it sure seems like it at the time

my other half starts barking like a squirrel dog after I hit the second round , it can become cumbersome , just saying ....
