    first time cook is now out of the way. Time to get some blackened crappie on this machine, anyone tried that on the black stone?

    Absolutely. Blackened fish is one of the things the Blackstone is best at.

    I have not tried blackened crappie yet but I have made blackened catfish over a bed of dirty rice. I have made philly cheese steak sammiches on the blackstone. I use the heck out of my Blackstone and it has been one of better purchases over the last couple of years.

    We've been using ours every weekend since purchasing. We love it. Sure does make a bunch of food quick too.

    they are used here to feed crowds quite often in the ft worth area , they will get after it on the amount of cooking they can accomplish in a quick minute for sure ....
