Default Cajun Fryer, First Time Fire UP???

You will enjoy that cooker for a Long time! Bought my dad one almost 20 years ago. With all the additions of nieces, nephews, grandkids throughout the years I bought a second one about 5 years ago to be able to keep up with all the hungry bellies. Absolutely the best cooker for deep frying in my book.

Well worth the price! With a little, very little, tlc it will last forever. The money saved on oil, being able to reuse so many times without burning, makes all the difference. Hard to find products that will stand the test of time anymore, this is definitely one that will.

OP'er here. I want to say again how impressed with the rice bran oil. Since it has a higher flash temp, I was able to fry at around 400. The fish, frys and HP cooked faster and were more crisper and seamed to be "lighter" . I suppose someone else would prefer something els but I think it was the best fish and fixings I've ever cooked. Ready for more....

Saw them at the crappie expo but haven't tried their oil yet. I did see that it was comparable to peanut oil, maybe even a little better.
