    Default Asian Sauteed Crappie

Did this the other day working up a Asian Saute Crappie recipe.

    Fillets from 2 - 1lb Crappies
    2 Tbls Unsalted butter
    1/2 Tsp Chinese 5-Spice
    2 Tbls Ponzu sauce
    1 Tbls Soy sauce
    2 Tbls Chili sauce
    2 Tsp Sesame oil
    2 Tbls Sesame seeds

Melt butter in large non-stick pan. Add 5 spice, ponzu, soy sauce, chili sauce, sesame oil.

Cook a little to combine and kick 5 spice then lay fillets in and cook med/low.

Sauce will reduce as fish cook. When fish is only translucent in center flip over.

Continue to cook until fish is cooked through and sauce is thickened and butter separates to edges of sauce.

Serve over fried rice. I made homemade Shrimp fried rice to serve under fish.

I think a bit of sugar, seasoned sushi rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes will be added to the next batch.

I accidentally uploaded some chicken waffles I made for breakfast and now can't delete it.

That plate lasted about 3 minutes. I really tried to slow down but could not. I was following the crappie cakes recipes and am finalizing a recipe for them too. When complete I will post. Thank you all, being a foodie has it's rewards.
