    They should, after refrigeration just crumble them up, medium to large chunks, and add to Crappie cake recipe mixture. They might be a little more oily as I am sure they absorbed some of the butter/oil that you blackened them in. If you blackened them in Old Bay then it should add even more crab cake taste. Let us know, and the above skillet looks yummy!

    i would guess yes , but add no salt to the fish cakes would be my suggestion
