    Default Foil packet crappie

Ok, think I got it now. Crappie fillets, salt and pepper, chopped green onion, a little minced garlic, 3 or 4 pats of butter, 2 or 3 tablespoons orange juice and topped with a sliced orange.
Fold the foil tight to make a packet and place in a 400 degree oven or on a grill. I cooked mine for 15 minutes but they were probably done well before that. Served over a bed of rice with some of the cooked juice poured on top of it all. My wife an I ate all that you see in one setting. Was mighty good.

I saw this post and recipe this am. I thawed out 12 crappie fillets and tried this recipe. It was absolutely fabulous. Thanks for the recipe and the post
