I have cooked crappie, bass and catfish with blackened seasoning. As stated above the crappie are a bit light for it, it doesn’t take anytime for them to cook. In my ignorance the first time I ever tried it was inside, the learning curve was very steep. An outside endeavor from thence forth. But dang if they ain’t good.
