Default Fresh Bluegill and a Vidalia Onion

Last night I brought home several nice sized Bluegill for the table. Filleted and chilled overnight, the first fresh cook of these little Cricket Crunchers is my favorite, Southern comfort food if you will. A sweet onion from GA joined the party and supper was on. Looked good, tasted good, and wife approved.

Looks awesome, what's the batter you used for the onion? Just egg wash and flour?
Commercial worm farmer, but presently sold out until further notice.

I have tried many different mixes but have settled on this one. You can substitute a nice light colored beer for the water that is called for in the directions on the package and make some killer Beer Battered Rings. I use Corona Extra, works well.
