    Default Inside or Out?

Where do you fry your fish? 4 years ago we gutted our kitchen and installed all new....everything. Even though I do all the cooking my wife informed me that we were not going to be frying any fish on the new countertops. Ok, I just fry them where I clean them, outside under the awning.

Beer Battered Onion Rings and a container of breaded fillets are ready to go outside. The little Coronita is the perfect amount for this packet of batter (less one swig for the cook).

?My feline helper really gets excited when the fish come back to the outside table. She is old and has only one eye but the nose still works. Of course I gave her just a small bite/reward and then served the hungry humans.

So where do you fry your fish, inside or out?

I mostly broil or bake nowadays, but for ‘bout the last 15-16yrs I’ve done mine outdoors for the same reason.

Outside. Momma said I can't fry in the house. Something about making a mess and leaving it for her to clean up.

I fry outside in the back yard with my fish fryer and Dad fries in the kitchen in an old old old black pot.

Man, those onion rings look great! I'm gonna have to find some of that fry batter mix.

Take care of kitty; I was hoping you would mention if you gave her a piece of fish or not. She's old and only has one eye.......give her a whole fillet next time and let the old gal indulge.

I started frying outside. I then realized that crappie don’t stink! So, I moved inside. It saved me hauling my 2 burner Camp Chef, propane tank, breading, pans, etc., outside, then cleaning and bringing em back in. Took me longer to set up and tear down than it did to cook fish! After frying inside, I light a candle. Covers the smell and makes me look all romantic!

Electric fryer stays on the bar in the kitchen loaded with grease just turn it on and let it heat up then ready to go! Keep grease changed out or cleansed about once a month ! Makes cooking easy. Also light a hazel nut candle after the cooking to sweeten things back up !

Always outside. I love to eat fried fish but don't like to smell it the next morning!!! Have two -- two vat fryers and one cast iron fryer. Love to cook outdoors.
