"G" uses one for fish and shrimp.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

    Dry fillets,
    roll in Zatarains fish breading,
    dip in beaten egg,
    roll in bread crumbs.
lightly spray racks with olive oil,
place 5 or 6 fillets on each rack. lightly spray fillets with olive oil( use pump spray bottle),
turn fillets over and spray other side.,
Push fish button on Air Fryer
adjust time to 18 minutes at 350
after 6 minutes rotate top rack to bottom, middle rack to top, bottom rack to middle.
after 6 more minutes rotate racks again
    after 6 more minutes, EAT!!!

Everytime I’ve tried olive oil they come out fishy. I need to get an air fryer. Only tried baking with olive oil.

Just made some tonight. Took fillets and spritzed with olive oil lightly, then put in bag with shake and bake, coat them good and shake off excess. Put on racks for 9 minutes at 390. Then pulled and rotated racks for another 9 minutes at 390. Let sit in oven after it shut off for about 4-5 minutes. Came out just about like fried and done just right. This is same recipie I use in oven to bake them but this is much better. Becky approved so it must be good.

I have yet to eat “fried fish” out of my air fryer. Most of mine come out tasting baked. I’m sure I’m not doing something right though. I do know that you need to be quite liberal with the spray on oil. The first time I tried crappie fillets I tried brushing with olive oil, and a lot of the breading came off, along with the fillets crumbling when I tried to get out. Tonight I cooked some whole fish in it without any breading and just salt and pepper and dash. Came out baked tasting. Everything I have cooked except fish has come out good. So, if you’re looking for healthy then true fish in the air fryer is the best way. But, if you’re wanting tasty, you might need to stick to the peanut oil.
