We made some crawfish bisque with this recipe - man is it good. The wife used half and half instead heavy cream. Still very creamy and rich. Thanks for the recipe!

I just discovered it a couple of years ago, when a couple of recipes called for it. When I bought it at the store, I remembered the can from when my dad would cook with it. It is a really good seasoning for any seafood, but I also like it on pork and chicken.

I am glad I am not the only one that discovered it and recognize it from the past. I use it on everything now and it gives me memories of the old cajun style cooking.

I ought to try my Gramma Barlows old prize winning recieve for Clams cakes,,,, Instead of making pancakes with clams, try using crappie and call'em Crappie Cakes,,, Or maybe some a Fried Crappie Balls...lol

Thanks for sharing you recipe. My wife made it and it was great and the left over the next day that she put in the ref. was great also. Now if I can only talk her into making some more. Thanks again and have a good and safe fishing season.

Made this again and kicked it up a notch. Added 1lb of fresh shrimp and 1lb fresh blue crab meat. Sent this over the top.
