When you fry your Crappie. What is your favorite coating. I have tried about half dozon different brands. I keep going back to McCormick Cajun.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

A little Lawry's, plenty of Old Bay, some cornmeal and flour.

For exceptional quality fish you want to taste instead of just fried taste (pompano, flounder, sea trout for me, mainly), dust with flour, dip in egg, dip in panko bread crumbs, pan fry til golden brown.

I usually use Zatarain's crispy southern, but JR Madds is really good too.

Zaterans is my back up when the store is out of McCormik's. Crisy Southern is very good. I have two shakers of Lawrys seasond salt in my cabinet. One regular and one with Black pepper. I put it on my Steaks, never tried in with fish. I guess I will give it a try next time. Greek seasoning is good mixed into the flour as well.

Zatarain's Crispy Southern with real Lemon. I've been using it for years and think it's the best. When it boils right down to it, it's all a matter of personal taste, use what ya like.
