It’s funny, kind of, the things you start to remember about Christmas as a kid. Like one Christmas my parents gave me a huge gift of ace bandages. They told me they had entered me in a contest to be part of a live Egyptian nativity scene. All at once they were busy frantically wrapping me from head to toe. I kept asking. What part am I going to play? Just before they finished wrapping my head I heard “you’re the mummy in the manger”. I still don’t know where they took me but there was a lot of “mooing” and the hay smelled “very” used.
