I heard a public service announcement the other day that stated “Never leave valuables in plain sight and lock your car doors when Christmas shopping “. Things must have really changed because for a few years my family would leave me in my car seat with the car unlocked while they shopped. One time they even strapped me and the car seat in another unlocked car, I still don’t know what that was all about.
