    Although we never had a lot of money when I was growing up, my dad was very creative. Like one Christmas morning when I came down stairs to find not one present under the tree. My dad, seeing how stunned I was, came over to me and said “son”, (that’s what him and mom called me because they said I was so bright), “I have some bad news”. With that he took me outside to a terrible sight. There was a Santa suit torn to shreds and a rickety old sleigh with some tattered old reins and harnesses attached to it. And then there was some almost meatless bones (like the ones a butcher throws away) scattered amongst the harnesses. Dad put his hand on my shoulder and said “there will be no Christmas presents this year because a pack of wolves came and ate Santa and all his reindeer “.
    Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
