Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus.

My favorite Christmas story may sound bleak to some. It wasn't for me. My Dad worked for a bug sawmill. That year there was a long strike. My little brother and I both got a shirt and a toy to share. We understood times were tough. We had a great Christmas Dinner. The best part was listening to my Dad Grandpa and my older brothers telling hunting and fishing stories. My little brother and I absorbed every word. Soon it would be our turn to join in. Never happened. Grandpa passed away and Dad crawled into a bottle. My older brothers both went in the service. Never another Christmas like that.
