The day I caught this was one of my best days fishing ever! Almost every cast I was bringing one in. Nothing of any size much but a joy to catch. I even remembered to get photos for the BnM contest that was going on that month. Would love to have one of those days and take my family especially my daughter. Love to see and hear her get excited!
I know there are Crappie here, but can't seem to get past the Bass...still a great day...caught on BnM 8' jigging pole...

Nothing better than a few crappie in the box.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!
While fishing a shiner under a large red/white plastic bobber, for bass, I had 2ft. alligator take an interest in my bobber. Having a very active wild shiner, as my bait, he was giving the bobber it’s own enticing action whether I moved it or not. Appearing that he wasn’t going lose interest in it, I decided to ease it towards the boat in hopes of saving my float. As I would move it the shiner would bounce it even more so. By now the gator was so close to it the next time it moved he chomped it and provided me with a red/white “puzzle-piece” style former bobber.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
My son and I were out bridge fishing . The action was good all day. I asked him if he was ready to go several times. He kept saying one more one more. He loves crappie fishing.
