I am not sure if this is something you would like to share for this Memorial Day weekend or not. If so please feel free to post it. The video is something I wrote and edited and speak the narrative. The young Marine at the end is my middle son, who is now out of the service and living back at home. He made it home safe but is definitely scarred. PTSD is a terrible thing and hurts to see what all these men, from all the wars through the ages are going through. I recently had the pleasure to speak with two Korean War veterans who both spoke openly about there life long battle with PTSD, of course it has only been recently that there illness was officially labeled and they are starting to understand it. The drawing, well I guess it speaks for itself.
If you want to post it, I thought maybe you could use the paragraph below.
As I sit in my office on this Friday of Memorial Day weekend, my mind is filled with thoughts of family and friends who have served this great nation. I am proud of each and everyone of them. To all who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces I say thank you. To all who have given the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live this great life, I am forever grateful and hope that someday I can thank you personally. And though I may not always agree with some of the things that are going on in this country, it is because of you that I am proud to say that I am an American. Thank you all and God Bless the USA.
