A pan of fish. Linda and I went this late morning looking for some bluegill beds. Look as we might we fish for a couple of hours and only found some real small goggle eyes and some small pumpkinseeds. We motored down the canal where we came from and stop in one spot for some unknown reason. After traveling a couple hundred feet down the canal Linda missed a couple of bites in a row a told me there was a bed here. I backed the boat so she could reach the spot and soon she begin catching and I followed suit. we sat there for an hour or so and boated a little over 30 keepers plus that many females which we mostly throw back. All in all, a fun day but a little too much sun, boy was it hot. We caught them on tube jigs tipped with a piece of shrimp.
