Saturday finally got here and we had a fantastic Slabfest. This was the largest crowd we have had here at a Talquin event.This is way the morning started out:
But as you can see the winds picked up pretty quick!!
It was a little bit tough for some, but some good fish were still caught. Here is Airpressure/Rawhide with their Big Fish:

Hooker and Heavylead were #1 of the 5 Big Fish winners with 1.86 lbs (1 lb 14 oz)
Door prizes were given out and now for the food!!

The wind was a deciding factor in several folks leaving after we ate.....Well, you left too early!! The wind laid down and made for a great afternoon of fishing. If you didn't catch any fish, it was because you wasn't fishing!! We went out and started fishing around 3:00 and there was only 2 other boats out there. Within an hour, there was over 20 boats fishing the same area we were at and everyone was catching fish. You can see in the picture that it was a beautiful afternoon...We didn't have time to take many pictures, but here are a few:
