Couple of my Favorites.......and a fish or two.

Dad's been feeling pretty good lately. All 120 pounds of him. Boy was with other Pop at the huntclub. Girl said she'd go. Weather was looking good. Dad don't take cold too well, so we bundled him up. Rode up the James river a piece. First minnow over the side and his cork disappeared. The way it was pulling I was sure he had a catfish. Nope. A fine superior speciman. Dad was quite shocked. Shocked by the fish.......and that it looked like I knew what I was doing! Hehehe!

You can't see the "long-handles" he has on. But that is a lined jean jacket. He likes that girl.

I had a blast. We caught a mess of fish. My dad thinks I can fish. Brother in Law Shawn went too. He knows his way around a minnow too. Thanks Shawn.

And, just if you are bored. Here is Boy on youth deer day yesterday. After a long sit, 6 deer come to the beans. From about 150 yards, he settled the crosshairs on a spike.......and proceed to scare the crap out of them. At least he was smart enough to not shoot at the 4 that crossed the field with the after-burners on. No sweat. We start with Bow next week. I had a second camera zoomed in on his quarry. Sure would have been nice had I hit record.
