Week before last someone on the MS board lost a trolling rod overboard not realizing it until they got back to the ramp and not knowing where it had been lost. They got on the board and announced it in hopes that maybe another member had been fishing Sardis that day and found it. As it turned out the cousin, I believe, of a member had in fact been on Sardis this day and found the rod and reel floating. The trolling rod and bait casting reel were shipped to the owner that day. I was pleased with this turnout, just reinforced what I like to believe to be true about man kind.

Thanks to this site I have been able to share fish with folks in a way I have never been able to before. Before last year I only fished in the spring and put up crappie in hopes of making it through the winter without running out of fish. Joining last March I got interested in summertime fishing and pulling cranks. It was tuff at first but with the help of the folks on the MS board and encouragement they offered I stuck it out and got to the point of being able to catch em fairly constantly. This afforded me the opportunity to be able to share fish with alot of folks and it has been an absolute pleasure doing so. Down to maybe 10 messes left in the freezer its time to start back stocking up again. Thanks to the folks of this site tho I feel no pressure this spring to catch a whole years worth of fish in 3 or 4 weeks because I have been blessed with the knowledge to fish all simmer long successfully.

Had the pleasure of meeting Slab at Sardis this past September and would like to take the opportunity to say thanks to him and the folks of this site for the willingness to help and share, its what is meant to be. Thanks all!!!

This is a picture of the Crappie Camp Rees is talking about that we had this last Spring. This also reminds me, I need to post at least all the good pictures I took at that camp.....Slab
