• Wally Marshall Visit this morning...pics

    Wally told me at the Grizzly Jig Show he was gonna stop by, but we all know how fishermen uuuuuh exaggerate. Well, Wally and Greg Matheny stopped in early this morning for a visit. Wally served me up a platter full of black/chartreuse "Poles" for breakfast. They sure look good but were chewy and tasted like fish butt. Guess I will have to put 'em on a jig head and see what the fish think.

    Greg, Wally and I sat around and shot the bull. I believe Wally had a show going on in Benton, Ky. I really enjoyed the jawing. Wally had a truck load of goodies. Wow! Got to see some new stuff.

    Lucky that I was at the lake to see them. I went up yesterday to meet the insurance adjuster for wind damage assessment, plus I have a funeral to attend Tuesday.


    The visit cheered Brenda and myself.

      His rod and reels are junk (from china). don't buy them. 2 baitcasting reels wouldn't work "right out of the box" so to speak. the guide on the end of the rod fell off and had to be glued back on.

      Hey Cane Pole, Thanks for the hospitality !! I had a blast visiting with Tom and Brenda , they have a awesome place right on the banks at Kentucky Lake what a place!! Yep I had told Tom not to show everyone those baits but i guess the cat is out of the bag ! Lots of Fun talking with Tom this weekend ! Crappie.com has a great couple to look up to!
