DITCH PICKLES that is! = Need more Crappie-meat on this Fun-Bun please! The forecasted conditions confirmed a PERFECT 10!
At one point, I thought I was @the Circus watching the FLYING WALENDAS It really was a BLAST handling these strong, acrobatic bruisers, sometimes TWO @a time, especially while l/l'g TWELVE outfits by myself! Actually managed to boat 8 AERIALISTS!
Similar to Sunday, the best Crappie bite was EARLY then only an occasional keeper or throwback. However, the DP's were active throughout the 5 hr. trip. Ended the day satisfied with all the arched-rods(up to 16") receiving their Call to Duty!
As a side note: Many of us forget to bring a scale/ruler from time to time, so I thought I'd share a tip from yesterday...panfish, especially varieties from the BREAM Family are noteworthy when they reach the 9 inch mark. Yeah, I know, handspans, two-finger pinch "walks"(inch) etc. are emergency fall-backs, but THIS is even more rewarding In TWO Ways! Yep, Coors Light!! Now, I could have easily given you JEEPJOCK's phone #, but for confidentiality reasons, I concocted this alternative. The reason I mentioned JJ is because he is the undisputed KING of ALL things known about COORS LIGHT!! I honestly think, or not, that he uses it on his CORN FLAKES before going fishing for guaranteed LUCK! I think that may have started last year when I introduced him to my [COLOR="#8B4513"]Lucky SQUARE DONUTS![/COLOR
Message worth mentioning = This measuring technique applies ONLY to COORS LIGHT not regular COORS(high-test)
Thanks for READIN'/RIDIN'/REELIN'
Don't forget your "multi-purpose" measuring Device!
All GLADIATORS were gently released back to their Coliseum!
