Me and a buddy took our wives on a recent camping trip down to Clark's Hill Lake. My grandson, Ashton (Bubba), was able to join us on the last day of our trip and able to enjoy some catching. Any time off to relax is enjoyable, but time spent on the water with friends and family is priceless. Some had asked how my recent ties worked...well, the chartreuse/white put up the most numbers, but the gray/blue/chartreuse feather was a notable second. These were the most used jigs while casting to brush piles. The trolling bite was a different story, the new grass shrimp jig was our number one pattern for longline trolling. I did get to squeeze in a casting practice session with 3 of the grandkids one afternoon, thankfully no one was injured...we enjoyed great weather, good food, & great fellowship during our trip and I can't wait to get those kids back on the water again. I hope y'all enjoy the pics.
