When It comes to fishing I cave pretty quickly
Yesterday I was sitting in a restaurant having lunch with my wife after the fishing expo when the phone rings. An old fishing buddy on the other end says let's go shoot some docks in the morning. Forecast for this morning is 22 degrees. Actual temperature at the launch 18.. I have rock salt inbthe truck in case the ramp is frozen. Absolutely didn't want to launch the truck and the boat. We got to the first dock we were going to shoot. 3rd cast in and out comes a short crappie. My first of 2022. Two more shots the 2nd short fish is having it's photo taken before I toss him back. I am pretty stoked that this is going to be a great day. We didn't boat another fish all day. We did catch up on old times, had a blast laughing and joking. I also got to shoot that sweet little 4'6" B&M Sharpshooter with a Tennessee handle. Great little rod lightweight. Just floats in your hand. Nothing beats fun and fellowship shared with a friend fishing.

good days fishing don't always involve ketchn a lot of big ones. WTG both of you for simply getting out and wetting your lines.

I believe ice fishing with a shack would have to be warmer
