Haven’t been in near thirty years but I went offshore with my SIL today. Mike has a very nice 22’ center console well suited for the task. A few large fish were fought today but mostly in Mike's friends boat that was fishing nearby. I didn’t knock em in the head, even my sabiki rig went mostly untouched. So later in the day I went back to basics and put a shrimp on and started catching forbidden snapper. Season on them is only a few days every few months. But they do stretch the line nicely. Cobia, sheepshead, Lane snapper, and a few others were seen today. We kept none but sure wanted to. I had a great day and I’m spent and fighting sleep writing this. Here’s a few pics of a very good day, and thanks for taking this ride with Mike and I.
