Now for something completely different

Finally had a chance for a road trip with 2 great couples. We did this 2 years before a charter lake Michigan excursion w 1 of dumper Dan's boat. We love to have our wives jump up first and do most of ketchn and they did great.

Cindy was up first and had big King Salmon right off 5he bat. What a fight and she is least experienced of the crew. Fish took loads of line and went for l I ng time w hubby stepping up for few minutes to relieve her but she came back and brought it in! Then we all took our turns and crew did heavy lifting of actually hooking them and netting. Great weather and good crew and good time had by all and we caught couple kings, coho and mostly lake trout.

Second morning washed out by storm but still great trip to sheboygan WI area. Hit snowmelt in two rivers and had great visit with Cindy's family who lives close by and are great folks. Topped off with going to my daughter's home in Madison area and seeing grandkids!

Have to say ketchn big fish is fun but nothing like the big crappie we caught earlier in year. Guess we r just crappieholics!
